Midfielder Barnabus Mushunje has described the 1-1 draw against CAPS United in the Chibuku Super Cup on Sunday as an amazing fight.
The Glamour Boys conceded first but managed to come back through Mushunje’s 45 minute equaliser.
“We didn’t give up after conceding. We showed an amazing fighting spirit .
” I’m really excited for scoring such an important goal. It wasn’t one of the best goals seen in the country but certainly one of the important strikes recorded.
“I’m thankful to the coaches for giving me some time to play. I would also like to thank my teammates for the support.
“I will be happy if the team manages to keep this consistency and make it to the next stage of the competition. At the moment it’s still work in progress.”
The draw meant Dynamos remain on top of group one with eight points. Only two teams in the 6 teams group proceed to the quarter finals. The group also has Herentals, Yadah, ZPC Kariba, CAPS United and Dembare’s next opponents Harare City.
